‘We can highly recommend this book as it is Biblical, practical and tested in the marriages of people in many different cultures,’ Ross and Christine Paterson.
Over half a million copies have been distributed.
Born in South Africa, we married in 1998 and have really LOVED the journey thus far. We have lived in the UK, HK, NY and now HK again...and so we've certainly enjoyed our life of travel and endured the stresses that come together with inter-continental moves. We are currently living in Sai Kung, HK together with our three children; 7, 4 and 2.
The fact that we and our extended family live on different continents makes us cherish our marriage, and recognise the importance of making it strong. We see it as a foundation for strong Kingdom community wherever in the world we are.
We met Rod & Ruthie in HK, and have loved the Marriage Masala course as it is a very simple and FUN way to review ones marriage and is incredibly practical. This seems to be the key, especially when we live in different cultures, and want to share God's idea for marriage with people from all over the world.
This is why we love sharing skills with others on the 'Spice Days' in Hong Kong which Marriage Masala makes possible!
Marriage Masala has been around for a while with Rod and Ruthie's initiative finding its roots in India and learning a valuable amount about marriages through their work in India. It has come to a stage now that they are not the only ones involved in the happenings of Marriage Masala. People from all over the world are involved in this exciting adventure taking different flavours and under different names are bringing hope to many marriages!
