What is marriage masala?

'Our strap line is “making marriage tasty”. If a marriage is tasty – you want to come home to it; you enjoy it and you want more of it! We believe this is a never-ending process, so Marriage Masala can be appropriate for anyone whether they have been married for five months, five years or fifty-five years!

Marriage Masala is a collection of “spices” offered to couples, to blend into their marriages to improve and enrich family life, just as they would grind spices into the masalas of their curries to make them tastier. The “spices” have been collected from the experience.

we have gained in our own marriage of 33 years and from our family of four sons and a daughter; four of whom are now married themselves. Ben and Shiyani and Dan and Michelle (who's hands you see here!) both married this year. Luke and Kirti seven years ago and Prilla to Joe in 2007. We owe them all so much; we love, appreciate and continue to learn from each of their unique relationships. Never forgetting our fourth son Ande who continues to spice the family with energy and ideas!

In the Bible, Moses was instructed to “skilfully blend” spices together to make both the incense (symbolising prayer) and the anointing oil (symbolising God’s blessing - Exodus 30 & 34). So it is with the sincere incense of prayer that we offer these spices to you; every one of which has anointed our own marriage and family life with the oil of God’s blessing. 

Marriage Masala is resourcing many couples world-wide to continue to run Seminars, train others for marriage ministry, counsel couples going through tough times, and publish books. Our purpose is to give fun and inspiration to any couple willing to skilfully blend the masalas!'
